• All participants in this contest agree with the terms of the contest as outlined.
• THEME: Artwork must feature children at play (ex. Sports, Games, etc.) in a SEASONAL setting (Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall)
• ONE (1) entry per child per selected represented season.
• Artwork can be either a Drawing or a Painting
• Artwork should be in a HORIZONTAL format
• Artwork MINIMUM size:
  8.5 inches (22 cm) high x 11 inches (28 cm) wide
• Artwork MAXIMUM size:
  16 inches (41 cm) high x 20 inches (51 cm) wide
• Artwork must be an original artwork created and submitted by children between 6 -14 years of age
• Open to Canadian residents ONLY
• Submissions MUST include the following information or are otherwise disqualified:

  Child's Age

  Selected Season: Winter / Spring / Summer / Fall

  Artwork Type: Drawing or Painting

  Artwork Dimensions: Height x Width

• ALL ARTWORK submitted becomes property of the Niagara Falls Art Gallery & Niagara Children's Museum, including all rights associated to the artwork, and will not be returned.
• ALL ARTWORK must be submitted either in person at our head office found at
  8058 Oakwood Drive, Niagara Falls, Ontario L2G 0J1
  OR
  Mailed and received to the same address prior to the DEADLINE in a secured, flat package ensuring the integrity of the artwork.
  Artwork can be submitted in person to our offices on
  Saturdays from 9am-4pm during the contest period.
• DEADLINE: Submissions must be received by
  the Niagara Falls Art Gallery & Niagara Children's Museum by:
  JUNE 14th, 2025, before 4:00pm EST
  No extensions will be granted.

• 18 artworks will be chosen from the submitted artwork (one to be featured for each month of the calendar) by Gallery & Museum staff based on creative and technical aspects as well as representation of the related/selected season.
• Winners will be selected by June 20th, 2025.
• Winners will be notified between June 23rd - 25th, 2025.
• Further announcements concerning the contest and calendar will appear on our social platforms shortly thereafter.

• Selection Prize:
  18 Prizes of $50 in ARTBUCKS! Each artist whose work is chosen to be featured on one of the calendar's 18 months will receive $50 in ARTBUCKS redeemable for programming at the Niagara Falls Art Gallery and Niagara Children's Museum*. Each selected artist will also receive one (1) copy of the completed calendar featuring their artwork!
• 1 Grand Prize Winner ($250 value)!
  One Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from the 18 selected works to also be featured on the cover of the calendar.
  The Grand Prize Winner can choose one additional prize from the following options valued at $250:

  • A Summer Art Camp
  or
  • A March Break Art Camp
  or
  • Artbucks Package of $250 redeemable for programming at the Niagara Falls Art Gallery and Niagara Children's Museum*
