Artist Bio:
Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Jana F. Jaros obtained a degree in Culture, Heritage Conservation and Management from Fleming College as well as trained for 4 years at the Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCADU).

Her artistic career to date has also given Jana the opportunity to work as a scenic painter and designer in a number of cultural avenues that include theatre, film, commercial, heritage and mural fabrication. At the end of 2018 she relocated back to Ottawa from Niagara to put her administration skills and experience to work by starting up an online arts & culture hub called ArtsCOVSA focusing on the Ottawa Valley & surrounding area.

Recently, Jana's work 'Handle' was accepted as one of the finalists in a juried online art exhibit at Fusion Art Gallery in Palm Springs, California, U.S.A. which commemorated their 5th Anniversary (Oct 2020). It will be available for viewing online for a year. She was also chosen to be part of the inaugural group show 'WOWman Art' (Summer 2021) at the Art Factory's newly opened dedicated gallery, created by artist Patrick John Mills.
