Daniel Abadie
Artist Bio:
I am in constant admiration of the beauty in nature. It is not a surprise that I gravitate toward such beauty
when I sit in front of my blank canvas. Since coming to Canada, I have been compelled to depict Ontario's forests,
fields and gardens. These are the rich sources that transform the blank canvas into fulsome compositions.
My medium is oil on canvas and the technique of choice is pointillism, where each small brushstroke made is
deliberate and creates the architecture of the painting. Although I choose to work with a vibrant palette,
my paintings maintain a dreamlike quality to view nature in its perfection.
